- More than 100 miles of hiking trails.
- The multi-use Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.
Where pets are not allowed
- Park buildings and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
- East Rim mountain bike trails, including for service animals.
- Virginia Kendall Hills during sledding activities.
Leash rule
Pets must be restrained; reviewed source states a maximum leash length of 6 feet.
Safety notes
- NPS recommends water and cautions about poison ivy, ticks, wildlife, and changing trail conditions.
