Where pets are allowed
- Developed campgrounds, turnouts, picnic areas, parking lots, roads, and road shoulders where cars are permitted.
- Jackson Lake boats, subject to applicable boating rules.
- The designated pet-walking lane on the seasonally closed portion of Teton Park Road from November 1 through April 30.
Where pets are not allowed
- Park trails, pathways, and the backcountry.
- Beaches, public buildings, and swimming in park waters.
- Boats on park waters except Jackson Lake.
- The park multi-use pathway.
- Dog sledding and ski-jorring.
Leash rule
Pets must be restrained; reviewed source states a maximum leash length of 6 feet.
Safety notes
- Pets must remain within 30 feet of a roadway.
