Where pets are allowed
- Within 100 feet of roads, parking areas, and campgrounds.
- Unpaved roads open to vehicles.
- The paved Oasis of Mara and Keys View trails.
Where pets are not allowed
- Hiking trails other than the specifically named paved trails.
- Backcountry and park buildings, including when a pet is carried.
Leash rule
Pets must be restrained; reviewed source states a maximum leash length of 6 feet.
Safety notes
- NPS warns that pavement can burn paws and advises carrying ample water.
