Where pets are allowed
- Rincon Mountain District: Mica View Dirt Road, Mica View Trail, Desert Ecology Trail, and Cactus Forest Loop Road.
- Tucson Mountain District: Bajada Loop Drive, Desert Discovery Trail, and Golden Gate Road between Bajada Loop and Picture Rocks Road.
Where pets are not allowed
- All other park trails.
Leash rule
Pets must be restrained; reviewed source states a maximum leash length of 6 feet.
Safety notes
- NPS warns of cactus spines, thorny brush, rattlesnakes, scorpions, mine shafts, heat stroke, and burned paws.
