Where pets are not allowed
- Boardwalks.
- Hiking trails and the backcountry.
- Thermal areas, including when a pet is carried.
Leash rule
Pets must be restrained; reviewed source states a maximum leash length of 6 feet.
Safety notes
- NPS warns of predators, thermal hazards, and toxic plants in developed areas.
